震災以来の再会を果たした福島県双葉中学校の皆さんにアメリカからの手紙を届けました。びっしりと書かれた手紙におどろいていた子どもたちも、新しくできたアメリカの同年代の友達にうれしそうにお返事を書いていました。

Children at Futaba Jr. High School, who reunited for their first time since being evacuated from Fukushima, received letters from U.S. Children. Letters were full of supportive words, along with photos and drawings. Children were excited to have foreign friends of their own age and were very happy to reply.Aug 26, 2011

アフガニスタンに手紙が到着しました！湯本高校でアフガニスタン講座をした竹友有二さんも加藤正寛さんと途中で合流し、運んでくれました。これから現地語に翻訳され、手紙を書いた子どもたちに届けられます。

Letters from Yumoto High School children arrived in Afghanistan! Mr. Taketomo joined Mr. Kato in Dubai and delivered letters together. Letters will be translated into the local language and sent to children who waiting for the reply.Aug 26, 2011

一時帰国していたユニセフ・アフガニスタン事務所の加藤正寛さんに湯本高校の皆さんからのお返事を手渡しました。「手紙につづられた大切な想いを伝えます」とお返事を手にアフガニスタンに出発されました。

Mr. Masahiro Kato, the Child Friendly School specialist of UNICEF Afghanistan, returned temporarily from Afghanistan. We’ve handed him letters from Yumoto high school. “I will carry their precious impressions back with me to the children in Afghanistan”. Now he’s on his way back to Kabul.Aug 19, 2011

福島県立湯本高校の1年生から、アフガニスタンへのお返事が届きました！「みんなからもらった手紙は宝物です」と心をこめて書かれたメッセージや紙いっぱいに描かれた絵など、とてもすてきなお手紙でした。

We've now received letters from Yumoto high school in reply to Afghan children."Letters from Afghan children is treasure to me now” said Ms. Keiko Honma. All letters from Yumoto high school show their sincerest appreciation for the thoughtful words and drawings from Afghan children.Aug 5,2011

同じ島国であるアイスランドから届いた手紙を釜石保育園の年長、年中組に届けました。日本とよく似ているアイスランドのお話にみんな夢中。お返事と一緒に、新聞紙で作ったかぶともアイスランドに送ります！

We've delivered letters from Iceland from Kamaishi nursery school.Children found many similarities between Iceland and Japan and were absolutely enthralled by Mr. Jenson's story. As a present, children drew the pictures and made samurai warrior helmet out of newspaper and will be sent to Iceland soon. Aug 5,2011
